Instant Pot Yogurt… A Simple Yet Incredibly Healthy Food For You And Your Family

Hey there, busy mom!

We hope you’re having a great week so far!

Today we are sharing with you a recipe that we only made a couple of times, but we couldn’t help telling other people about because of how yummy and versatile it is. It’s instant pot yogurt! We will be making a plain one that you can enjoy with your family for breakfast or as a snack. Eat it as it is, or make parfaits by adding lots of fruit pieces like bananas, berries, apples, and additional ingredients like honey, cereal, and chia seeds… whatever you can think of that might make your yogurt healthier and yummier. You can even use it to make dips by adding some garlic, olive oil, various herbs, and seasonings. The sky's the limit when it comes to enjoying yogurt.

Health benefits of eating yogurt

So why yogurt, you ask? Well yogurt is known for the probiotics it contains, which are basically good microorganisms that promote gut health and good digestion. It is full of vitamins that help boost our immune system. It also helps ease inflammation so it’s perfect for those who might be prone to suffering from high acidity in their stomach.

It has been known as an ultra-nutritious snack that aids in weight management. It contains lots of protein to keep you full for hours, so it’s not such a big surprise that yogurt is the best friend of those who are on a diet.

On top of that it also reduces the risk of heart disease and even osteoporosis for adults.

It’s incredibly rich in nutrients so it’s enough to give your body the care it needs just by eating a good amount of yogurt. Aside from everything that has been mentioned, it also contains calcium and healthy fat to keep your heart health in check.

This recipe in particular can be consumed by those who are minimally lactose-intolerant because we will be using lactose-free milk as a base. So… let’s get started!

You’ll need:

Instant pot

Plastic spatula

Half a gallon of Fairlife milk (lactose-free)

8 ounces of Fage starter yogurt (plain)

Sweetened condensed milk

Almond coffee creamer (optional)

Molina vanilla

This is pretty simple, believe us! All you have to do is pour every ingredient in your instant pot. Whisk it and mix all the ingredients together. Once everything is mixed up, put the lid on and start your instant cooker. Press the yogurt button and let it cook for about 8 hours. After 8 hours, take it out, let it cool, put it in the fridge, and you can have it for breakfast as soon as the next day!

Your kids are gonna love it too! Just don’t be afraid to customize and add all the fruits your kids love to make it irresistible for them.
